In front of the exhibition booth of AECL on ICONE13 Expo, Mr. Kang Rixin, the General Manager of CNNC accepted the reactor model of ACR presented by Mr. Robert Van Adel, the president and the CEO of AECL on the morning of May 18.

The Qinshan NPP Phase III adopted Canadian technology of heavy water reactor, and was built through cooperation between CNNC and AECL. It’s success has got outstanding achievement of international first grade, and saved a large quantity of investment. Nowadays AECL has been dedicating itself to develop the ACR as the next generation NPP.
