| Four contracts to supply main components for the Extension Project of Qinshan NPP Phase II were signed at Shanghai on Sept. 7. The steam generator, core components, control road cluster driving mechanism and turbo- generator are key components of nuclear power plant. Mr. Wang Shoujun, vice president of CNNC and Mr. Xu Jianguo, vice secretary-general of Shanghai municipal government took part in this signing ceremony, and made speeches separately represented the owner and manufacturers. The Nuclear Power Qinshan Joint Venture Co. (NPQJVC) and Shanghai Boiler Co. signed a contract to supply steam generator, the NPQJVC and the First Shanghai Machine Tool Co. signed a contract to supply core components and control road cluster driving mechanism, the NPQJVC and the Shanghai Steam Turbine and Generator Co. signed a contract to supply turbo-generator. |
