The Xi’an Nuclear Equipment Factory and Nuclear Power Qinshan Joint Venture Co. (NPQJVC) signed a contract to supply components for the Extension Project of Qinshan NPP Phase II at Xi’an on Sept. 9. This contract included mainly manufacturing equipments of pressurizer, steam generator stand, safety injection tank, primary coolant pump supporting and so on.

The Nuclear Power Qinshan Joint Venture Corp. issued invitation document of public bidding to manufacture equipments for the Extension Project of Qinshan NPP Phase II on Feb. 2005. The works of opening bids and assessment bids were implemented in Apr. this year. The Xi’an Nuclear Equipment Factory was confirmed to win this bidding in May of 2005. Xi’an Nuclear Equipment Factory has successively manufactured many equipments of nuclear power plant for Qinshan NPP, Qinshan NPP Phase II, Ling’ao NPP and Pakistan Chashma NPP.
