
The Yizhuang Site of Beijing Nuclear Instrument Factory (BNIF) was broken ground to start on Sept. 13. Established in 1959, the BNIF is a largest scientific research and production base of nuclear radiation detectors and nuclear instruments in China. With the experience in developing reactor control instruments for more than 40 years, BNIF has provided complete systems applicable to nuclear measurement, control and protective instruments and special detectors for a number of reactors including Qinshan NPP. The event of breaking ground of Yizhuang Site marks BNIF, an old state-owned enterprise start to stride forward a contemporary enterprise.
Yizhuang developing zone for economy and technology located in the Southeastern of Beijing, witch is one and only developing zone approved by State Council. Its development target is to be the core area for new high-tech industry and contemporary manufacturing in Beijing even in China.
