Pakistan Chashma NPP Has Completed the Third Refueling Outage and Connected with Grid

The Pakistan Chashma NPP connected with grid again at 15:25 of Nov. 17 on local time. It marks the third refueling outage was completed successfully, 3 days ahead the planning schedule. Because unusual earthquake was happened at northern Pakistan on Oct. 8, the third refueling outage of the Chashma NPP was paused two days for checking and eliminating the effect on instrumentation and equipment. Through careful planning and hard working by both side of Pakistani and Chinese, the refueling and maintenance works were implemented successfully.

It is reported, after second refueling outage, the Chashma NPP generated electricity of 2.9 billion kWh totally, unit capability factor and load factor reached 96.4% and 93% separately during the third fuel cycle. The third refueling outage started from Oct. 1, and was planned to last 50 days.
