The CNNC has Become A Member of the WNA

Recently the director-general John Ritch of World Nuclear Association wrote a letter to the president Kang Rixin of the CNNC for informing that the CNNC was admitted as a new member of the WNA.

As the predecessor of WNA, the Uranium Institute was established in 1973, originally was a worldwide industrial institute which was composed of uranium producers, traders and users, and changed the name to World Nuclear Association in 2000. The headquarters of the WNA is located at London, UK. The WNA is the global organization that seeks to promote the peaceful worldwide use of nuclear power as a sustainable energy resource for the coming centuries. The WNA has nearly 120 members nowadays from 33 countries, and is concerned with nuclear power generation and all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, including mining, conversion, enrichment, fuel fabrication, plant manufacture, transport, and the safe disposition of spent fuel.
