On August 19, the first batch of 404 General Corporation¡¯s staff have moved to JiaYuguan City, this symbolized moving of the living base of 404 General Corporation started.
Director of Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defence (COSTIND) Zhang Yunchuan extremely concerned about this move. In a Official reply issued August 10 he said moves can obviously improve the staff¡¯s living condition, also is a sign of rapid development of CNNC.
404 General Corporation which be established in 1958 has been a important integrated base in research and producing , it has played an unreplaceable role in nuclear industry system and in nuclear fuel circulation industry chain for 48 years. Although the aging of living and producing facilities have brought many difficulties to 404 General Corporation Since the later 1980s, 404 General Corporation has still pushed ahead with its reformations.
