On June 11,during the critical phase of fighting against earthquake, the nuclear power equipment contract valued 5,000,000,000,including Steam turboset and Steam generator supply contract of Fangjiashan and Fuqing NPP,was signed between CNNC and Deyang steam turbine Base of Dongfang Electric Cor., Ltd.

    This contract is reported to be biggest order received by Dongfang Electric after the earthquake. The signature of this contract is the practical action performed by CNNC of supporting Dongfang Electric for resuming the reconstruction and production, and supporting the national equipment manufacturing industry development, and also has shown the determination of CNNC and Dongfang electricity to advance the nuclear power equipment localization together.

    For a long time ,CNNC and Dongfang Electric has a closelink and work together for promoting the equipment localization. In this earthquake, CNNC dispatches a medical team immediately to rush to Sichuan for supporting Dongfang electric even at the situation of aftershock unceasing,and donates 6,300,000 Yuan to Dongfang Electric.The indomitable spirit displayed by the Dongfang People during the earthquake relief work, has moved CNNC people deeply, and strengthen the confidence and dertermination of cooperation between CNNC and Dongfang. The signature of this contract has a milestone significance, which symbolizes Fang Jiashan and the Fuqing nuclear power project forward one step, and also speeds up nuclear power equipment localization.
